Have had to take a break as doing some 'proper' writing for money. Quite a big job which will take until next month. Which means I probably won't get to write about the 0 I got on Sunday any time soon. What a shame.
And what a 0 it was. The drama, the tension, the buzz. It was all happening there at the London Fields.
When you do write about it, don't forget to describe in graphic detail how you ended up sprawled on your arse when you failed to man up on a quick single.
I'm reminded of the missing red cherry which appeared on the back of milk carton last Monday. Concerned parents wanted their ball home, a spokeman quipped 'this is the balls home, where it belongs, please send the ball home'.

Would 'manning up' have been to run the non-striker out?
